The Collaboration
Jenora Haynes, a SCAD University graduate with an M.A. in Luxury and Fashion Management, and Adeola Ayedun, a B.F.A. Illustration graduate from SCAD, have joined forces to celebrate and honor Black history through a powerful new collection. As the Head Designer and Founder of Incassable Fashion, Jenora brings her expertise in fashion and business, while Adeola infuses the line with her artistic vision. Together, they have created a stunning merchandise line inspired by two signature paintings: "Black is Power" and "Black is Beautiful." "Black is Power" highlights the strength, grace, sacrifice, and resilience of Black leaders who continue to advocate for freedom and rights within the community. Meanwhile, "Black is Beautiful" showcases the elegance, diversity, and beauty of Black women, emphasizing the richness of different skin tones, body types, and hair textures. This collection not only celebrates Black culture but also serves to inspire younger generations to embrace their beauty, strength, and heritage.
"Black is Beautiful" is a celebration of the elegance, diversity, and beauty of Black women in all the ways they can physically appear. The artwork highlights the richness of various skin tones, from deep mahogany to warm caramel, capturing the unique glow of each complexion. It also features a variety of body shapes, emphasizing the strength, grace, and individuality that Black women embody, whether curvy, athletic, or slender. Different hair textures, from tightly coiled curls to flowing locs and soft waves, are showcased, representing the versatility and pride Black women take in their natural beauty. Through this visual tribute, "Black is Beautiful" honors the endless forms of beauty within the Black female experience, reminding viewers of the power and grace that lies in diversity.

Meet Adeola Ayedun
Since childhood, Adeola Ayedun has nurtured a profound passion and appreciation for art. Raised across diverse cultural landscapes — Seattle, Washington; Shanghai, China; Lagos, Nigeria; and Brookhaven, Mississippi — her multicultural experiences have not only shaped her artistic vision, but also her personal growth. Adeola believes that every individual, from every corner of the world, has a unique narrative waiting to be shared, and she uses her art to celebrate these stories. Currently, Adeola serves as a freelance character designer, illustrator, and visual development artist, dedicated to unveiling the heart of every story and bringing it to life. She leverages her skills to provide creative consultations for clients and businesses, focusing on enhancing storytelling, brand identity, visual appeal, and customer connection. From music covers and poster designs to short films and apparel, Adeola consistently delivers thoughtful, impactful work. Looking ahead, she remains optimistic about future opportunities and is committed to creating art that inspires and connects people.

Beyond fashion, Jenora's mission is to inspire others, encouraging people in all areas of life to pursue their dreams and continually strive for personal growth.
